We were born spiritually, male and female, before coming to
earth as spirit sons and daughters to our Heavenly Parents. We came to the earth with the same spirit into
our physical bodies to test us and tempt us.
Our earthly purpose is to see if we will still follow the Lord even
after we have passed through a veil of forgetfulness; forgetful of our
pre-mortal life, of the Lord, and his plan for us. He wants us to create families and bring
other spirit sons and daughters down to the earth; to raise them in
righteousness, and teach them of the Lord and his purposes. After we die, we return to the Heaven, male
and female, with the opportunity to keep our family bonds and
relationships.
Knowing Heavenly Fathers plan and purpose for my life has
helped me to understand my identity and purpose here on the earth and into the eternities.
